Tunceli

Tunceli editions are hosted by S.S. Zembul Women's Initiative Production and Management Cooperative, founded in 2020 to strengthen women economically and socially in eastern Anatolia. The cooperative works in local gastronomy, traditional food production and home-based manufacturing, preserving culinary heritage while building collective entrepreneurship. It brings together eleven partner members and employs fifteen women, working from premises leased from the Municipality of Tunceli. Zembul has experience of Erasmus+ partnerships, community-based and informal learning, peer learning among women and intercultural exchange, alongside national fairs, local markets and public support programmes such as KOPDES. Members took part in a five-day Ethazi training in Italy and in the Stronger Together exchange with Basque women's cooperatives, hosting the Spanish group in Tunceli in return.
