About TANTI ACADEMY

What is TANTI ACADEMY

TANTI ACADEMY is the place where ABARKA ONGD's international training courses live: you find them, you read what really happens during the five days, you see when and where the next edition runs, and you request a place — for yourself or for your whole team.

It is licensed by TANTI SCOOP to ABARKA ONGD, and it exists for one reason: so that a small association can host training of a European standard without a European budget. Everything that used to travel through a chain of e-mails and spreadsheets — applications, confirmations, invitation letters, invoices, certificates — happens here, in one place, in English, Spanish and French.

TANTI ACADEMY is not a shop and not a marketplace. No course is sold to the highest bidder, no place is auctioned, no data is resold. It is an administrative tool with a social purpose: to give participants clarity, and to give organisers back the hours that paperwork takes from the work that matters.

In practice it holds: 16 courses in three tracks · 18 editions in 2027 across seven localities · one application route for organisations and one for individuals, with reduced-fee places kept open · every document a participant needs, from the invitation letter to the certificate and its annex.

What is TANTI SCOOP

TANTI SCOOP is a cooperative of services based in Spain. It develops, maintains and owns the TANTI ACADEMY software, and licenses it to ABARKA ONGD for the running of its training programme.

A cooperative was a deliberate choice. Software that serves solidarity organisations should not belong to an investor waiting for a return; it should belong to the people who build it and answer to the organisations who use it. TANTI SCOOP works to cost, publishes what it charges, and keeps the association free to leave with its data at any moment.

The division of roles is simple and written down: TANTI SCOOP is the licensor and technical provider; ABARKA ONGD is the licensee, the operator and the controller of the data. Participants' personal data belongs to ABARKA and is processed by TANTI SCOOP only under a written agreement, only to operate the platform, never for anything else.

In time, the same platform can serve other associations facing the same problem. That is the cooperative's purpose: build once, well, and share the cost.

Our mission

We make quality international training reachable for the organisations that need it most and can afford it least.

We do this by taking the administrative weight of a training programme — applications, places, payments, papers, languages — and carrying it well, so that trainers can train, hosts can host, and participants arrive knowing exactly what awaits them.

+ Clarity before commitment. Every fee, date and condition is visible before anyone applies. + A place kept open. A share of the places on every edition is reserved at a reduced fee for participants without institutional funding. + Real encounters. Our courses happen in real places, with local host partners, because what changes practice is meeting people who work differently. + Nothing extracted. We charge what a course costs to run and to keep running. No surcharge, no commission, no data sold.

Our vision

A Europe — and a wider world — where a village association and a national institution learn side by side, as equals.

We see a network in which a youth worker in Tunceli, a teacher in Varna, a social educator in Donostia and an association in Douala meet on the same course, teach each other as much as the trainer does, and go home with a partner they will build a project with five years later.

We are working towards the day when TANTI ACADEMY carries not only ABARKA's courses but those of other solidarity organisations who cannot build such a tool alone — a shared infrastructure for the social and solidarity economy, owned cooperatively, priced at cost, open in its methods.

And we measure that vision by one honest question, asked after every course: did this change what you do on Monday?

Our values

Dignity first. Every participant is a professional with something to teach, whatever their organisation's size or budget. Our language, our forms and our prices say so.

Solidarity, not charity. We do not give places away as a favour. The reduced-fee place is built into the price of the course, because a mixed room is a better room for everyone in it.

Honest money. Our fees are broken down line by line: the course, the services, board and lodging. The deposit is clearly non-refundable and clearly explained before anyone pays it.

Rooted in a place. We work with host partners who live where they teach. Participants eat, walk and learn in a real community — never in an anonymous conference hotel.

Practice over theory. Our courses are built around what people will do when they return. We would rather hand over one tool that is used than ten ideas that are admired.

Openness. Methods, toolkits and materials are shared under open licences. Knowledge paid for with public funds belongs to the public.

Care for the people who carry it. Small organisations run on a handful of exhausted people. We design our courses, our calendar and this platform so as not to add to that weight.
